Changelog

Every release of Arena Assistant.

v1.2.0

LatestJune 20, 2026
New
  • Player profiles are now scoped to the current Arena season, clearly labeled with the season name and date range.
  • Profiles load instantly and stream in the rest of your matches in the background, with a 'fetching more matches' indicator.
  • New Current Season / All Time toggle on the dashboard stats row, plus an info button explaining which numbers are measured, which come from your in-client Arena God challenge, and why all-time Wins is an estimate.
  • All-time win progress is recovered from your in-client Arena God challenge, so champions you won before Riot's match-history window still count - including total champions won and played.
  • Automatic local backups of your match history, with a data-aware restore that warns before replacing newer data. New Backups section in Settings.
  • Arena Recap sharing: Copy now puts the card image on your clipboard, you can share any season you have games in, and the card shows the season's date range.
  • Champion-select victory checklist now has a Current Season / All Time toggle, in-app and in the overlay.
Improved
  • 'Top 4' is now 'Top Half', computed from each match's real team count - correct for the new 3-player Arena format (a 4th-of-6 finish no longer counts; older 8-team games are unchanged). Applied to the recap, profile, and dashboard.
  • Cleaner won-champion badge on the dashboard, so a full roster of wins is easier on the eyes.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.2.0 installs) Improved augment recommendation accuracy - fixed cases where an augment was matched to the wrong mechanic (for example shown as 'scales with Health' when it does not), so the synergy and best-augment suggestions on the build pages are more reliable.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.2.0 installs) Smarter augment synergy - the 'Pairs with your selection' suggestions now connect many more real combos: stacking Health surfaces max-Health payoffs like Heavy Hitter, stacking Armor/Magic Resist surfaces resist-scaling payoffs, plus new links for mana, ability-haste / cast-frequency, heal-and-shield triggers, lockdown (immobilize) rewards, and energize / attack-speed builds.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.2.0 installs) Fresh patches now blend in the previous patch's data while the new patch is still collecting, so champion, item and augment stats are not sparse on patch day - the numbers fill out automatically and switch to current-patch-only once the new patch has enough games of its own.
Fix
  • Champions you've won with no longer show a 0% win rate - a crowned champion now counts at least one win on the dashboard win grid and the Champion Build page, even when Riot has dropped your older matches.
  • Arena Fame now shows an estimate in Current Season mode when the League client is closed, instead of disappearing.
  • Recap share card no longer clips long names or the footer logo, and the date label no longer crowds the player name.
  • Fixed some augment icons that failed to load due to malformed icon paths.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.2.0 installs) Fixed champion pick rate showing impossible values such as 999.99% on the build and tier list pages. The nightly stats rebuild was combining data across multiple patches; it now correctly scopes to the current patch.

v1.1.0

June 18, 2026
New
  • Arena Wrapped - your shareable season recap. Relive your Arena season slide-by-slide (games, champions conquered, best & most-played champions, placements) in an animated experience, then download or copy a branded card to share.
  • Discover your Arena player type - your Clan (from the champions you play) and your playstyle Title, plus how you compare to other players this season.
  • Arena Fame & Season Journey are now shown in the app, with a per-season breakdown in your recap.
  • Stat Priorities on champion build pages - see which stats matter most for each champion to guide your Stat Anvil and item picks.
  • Prismatic-adapted builds - pick the prismatic you took and your recommended Item Build and Best Augments re-rank around it.
  • Patch Notes - a new home card and dedicated page summarizing the latest Arena-relevant buffs, nerfs, and adjustments.
Improved
  • Redesigned Top Comps on the dashboard - compact, tier-colored, and more comps at a glance.
  • Faster champion build page loads.
  • Patch-note entries open the full patch page for the champion, item, or augment you clicked.
Fix
  • Fixed the home page reloading several times on launch - it now loads in a single pass.
  • Corrected Arena season dates so season filtering and per-season stats are accurate.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.1.0 installs) Fixed a Patch Notes augment icon that could fail to load.

v1.0.11

June 15, 2026
New
  • Split the in-game overlay controls - you can now toggle the live augment badges and the prismatic anvil badges on or off independently of the augment and prismatic suggestion panels.
Improved
  • Redesigned the overlay settings with a live mini-preview of every overlay, so it's clear at a glance what each toggle turns on.

v1.0.10

June 14, 2026
Improved
  • Added a quick prompt to join the Discord community and chat with other players.
Fix
  • Fixed the Discord invite link. The previous invite had expired, so new members couldn't join - the link works again now.
  • Fixed the home page Top Comps list sometimes showing different team comps than the full Comps tier list right after a new patch went live. Both now match. (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.10 installs)

v1.0.9

June 13, 2026
New
  • Champion Select now suggests full team comps based on your team's picks - with separate sections for team comps and per-champion options, markers showing which champions you've already won with, and a top comps list while you're still picking.
  • Smarter comp search: once you've picked several champions, the app also suggests strong comps that keep two of your picks (swapping the third for a meta partner), not just exact full-team matches.
Fix
  • In-game build, augment, and prismatic overlays now open even when you close the League client right before the game starts.
  • Fixed in-game overlays becoming unresponsive (couldn't click, drag, or hover tooltips) after restarting the app mid-game.
  • More accurate comp suggestions - fixed a case where comps that didn't actually include your picks could show up.
  • Augment overlay now reliably recognizes short augment names (e.g. Mercy) that on-screen text noise could cause it to miss.

v1.0.8

June 13, 2026
New
  • New 'Pairs with your selection' shelf on champion build pages - shows the items and duo companions that synergize best with the augments and items you've picked.
Improved
  • Cleaner synergy highlighting - off-meta recommendation cards now flag genuine synergy picks and skip generic noise.
Fix
  • Prismatic anvil suggestions now work in every supported language, not just English - the in-game helper reads the offered prismatic items in your client's language.

v1.0.7

June 12, 2026
New
  • Prismatic anvil assistance: when you open a prismatic anvil in-game, the 3 offered items now show live stat badges (tier, pick rate, and a synergy score that accounts for your champion and current build) - the same badges you already get on augment select.
Improved
  • In-game badges appear and disappear more responsively on augment select and anvil screens.
  • Champ select overlay: you can now drag the window from anywhere on its header (including the Comp/Victory tabs), and the minimized pill shows the Arena Assistant logo.
  • The Comps page now loads the complete comp pool instead of capping the list.
  • Champion portraits load faster thanks to a local image cache.
  • In-game synergy scores now account for mechanical item and augment combos (for example soul-stacking items with soul-granting augments).
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.7 installs) Burn-synergy recommendations now recognize more burn items and payoff augments: items that apply burn via different wording (like Blackfire Torch) are correctly detected, and prismatics whose payoff feeds on your burns (like Infernal Conduit, whose burns lower your ability cooldowns) now treat every burn source as a real synergy - so burn items and burn augments surface as top picks together.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.7 installs; new section visible on the website now, in the desktop app next update) On the build pages for a chosen augment or prismatic, augments and items that strongly synergize with your pick but don't match the champion's usual stats now appear in a dedicated 'Pairs with your selection' section instead of being hidden as off-meta - for example Dragon Soul augments on a Dragonheart build. Best Companion Augments is also cleaner: hard-to-classify picks no longer slip in above better-fitting, higher-sample ones.
Fix
  • Fixed frame drops while playing with the in-game assistant active - the recognition engine now idles between augment/anvil screens instead of working at full speed for the whole game.
  • Quest augments (like Quest: Wooglet's Witchcap) and other long-titled augments now show their stat badges correctly on the augment select screen.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.7 installs) Fixed crit synergy suggestions over-matching: items that merely carry crit chance in their stat line (like Force of Entropy) are no longer treated as spell-crit enablers on Jeweled Gauntlet builds, duplicate synergy reasons no longer appear in tooltips, and recommendations now weight how many games back each mechanical synergy - a 3-game item can no longer outrank a 400-game proven pick.

v1.0.5

June 10, 2026
New
  • Comp recommendations now show full trio variant cards - see the complete recommended comp at a glance, with crowd-favorite badges and your champion highlighted. Shows top 5 variants in both the overlay and the champion select assistant
Improved
  • Overlay close button replaced with a minimize button - collapse it to a small pill and expand again with a double-click. To turn off the overlay, use the Settings toggle
  • Redesigned uninstall page with the app logo and a cleaner layout
Fix
  • Champ-select overlay can now be dragged to any position on screen
  • Reduced in-game frame drops - the augment detection now captures only small screen regions instead of the full game window, and throttles to 900ms between scans when no augment panel is visible
  • Updating the app no longer opens the uninstall feedback page
  • Player profiles now show your most recent matches instead of older ones, and load faster on repeat visits

v1.0.6

June 10, 2026
Improved
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.6 installs) The Comps tier list now serves every comp above the minimum games threshold instead of capping the list.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.6 installs) Prismatic item ratings are now champion-fit based, just like augments - tiers and ordering on the Prismatics tab reflect how well each prismatic fits your champion (stats, stat alignment, and how it overperforms its global average on that champion).
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.6 installs) The synergy engine now understands crit-enabling augments like Jeweled Gauntlet. Crit chance and crit damage items (Infinity Edge, The Collector, Stormrazor and more) are correctly recognized as strong partners - crit damage amplifiers rank highest since they multiply every enabled crit. Item stats are now read from Riot's structured data, so many items previously missing their stat tags (B.F. Sword, Zeal-line, Rabadon's) are now properly recognized across all recommendations.
Fix
  • Fixed augment recommendations on champion pages. Augments that don't fit a champion (for example on-hit or attack-speed augments on tank champions) no longer show up as top picks. Recommendations now weight how often a champion's players actually pick each augment alongside its placement performance, so the augments that genuinely work for each champion surface first.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.6 installs) Fixed the Comps tier list showing only one comp after the new patch went live - it now keeps serving the previous patch's full comp data until the new patch has enough games recorded.

v1.0.4

June 9, 2026
Improved
  • Patch numbers now display in the official League format (for example 'Patch 26.11') across tier lists, build pages, and the in-game overlay - matching the in-game patch label and other stat sites.
  • Smarter augment recommendations - Stackosaurus Rex is now correctly favored on champions that build permanent stacks (Nasus, Veigar, Cho'Gath, Senna, and more).
Fix
  • Fixed tier lists and build stats showing unreliable data (everything rated S+, inflated placements) right after a new patch releases. The app now keeps showing the established patch's data until the new patch has enough games for accurate stats, with a 'new patch collecting' notice.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 1.0.4 installs) Fixed player profiles showing an outdated match history - your most recent games now appear right after a profile refresh, and profiles load faster.

v1.0.3

June 9, 2026
New
  • In-game augment suggestions now factor in item synergies - soul augments rank higher when you own Dragonheart, and similar item/augment combos are recognized.
Improved
  • Faster, smoother UI - quicker champion portrait loading and fewer re-renders on the dashboard.
  • Cleaner Champion Select overlay settings with a single master toggle.

v1.0.2

June 8, 2026
New
  • Added a one-time Borderless reminder: when overlays can't show because League is in Exclusive Fullscreen, you'll get a quick prompt (with a preview) to switch to Borderless. There's also a note in Settings > Overlays.
Improved
  • In-game overlays now keep working even if the League client is closed mid-game - they run off the live game itself.
  • The in-game build overlay now dims the items you've already bought, so the next item to pick up stands out.
  • Added a 'Buy me a Ko-fi' button in Settings > About (and on the website) if you'd like to support development.

v1.0.1

June 6, 2026
Improved
  • Augment names and descriptions now display in your client's language (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, and more).
  • Champion-exclusive augments (such as Shyvana's) no longer skew the global augment tier list.
Fix
  • Champion-select team-comp overlay no longer shows up blank or stuck on a previously-selected champion.
  • In-game augment overlay now shows the correct stats and tooltip for every augment - including newly-added ones and champion-specific/reskinned augments that previously displayed another augment's data.

v1.0.0

June 6, 2026
New
  • Real-time, build-aware augment suggestions in-game - the augment-select overlay now scores each offered augment for your champion AND your current build, adapting live as you buy items and pick augments, with a breakdown of where the synergy comes from.
  • In-game augment overlay with on-screen recognition (Beta) - the overlay reads the three augments offered on your screen and pins tier, pick rate and the live synergy score onto each card, including transmuted and upgraded augments and in your client's language.
  • New Arena Comps - a full team-composition system replacing Duos: a Comp tier list (desktop and web), trio-aware comp recommendations during champ-select, and a live Comp overlay that suggests champions to complete your team.
  • Champion build page now shows the best item for each build slot (plus round-by-round item and augment options for rounds 4/6/9) and lets you switch between build styles (AP, AD, tank, utility, lethality) - your preferred style is remembered per champion.
  • Player Profiles - look up ANY player by Riot ID right from the search bar (web and app) to see their stats, champion pool and full match history with detailed per-match breakdowns (Overview, Scoreboard, Timeline, Bans). Share any profile with a public link.
  • Reworked champ-select comp overlay - now closable, draggable with a position that persists, and you can click a recommended champion to pre-select it in the client.
Improved
  • Huge Synergy Engine upgrade - now champion-aware: recommendations account for each champion's archetype and stat alignment (so strong, unconventional picks aren't buried), factor in prismatic items, and use confidence-weighted scoring that trusts large samples.
  • Better in-game overlay system - a unified mid-game feed with live build-style updates; overlay panels are draggable with persistent positions and hide when the client is minimized.
  • Reworked prismatic item rankings (pick-rate-aware tiers with a proper placement baseline).
  • Augment icons now render consistently across the whole catalog.
  • Web and app now share the same detailed match-history view.
  • Search improvements - recent searches, smarter fetching, and polished player result rows.
  • Spanish translation for the champion build page (web and desktop).
  • More reliable stats so recommendations stay fresh and accurate.
Fix
  • Fixed match history not syncing for some non-NA accounts - games were mis-routed by region and showed 0 matches/0 wins, and now load correctly.
  • Fixed augment overlay badges blinking in and out on busy frames.
  • Fixed augment recognition occasionally getting stuck on the wrong champion (and showing the wrong pick rates).
  • Fixed the comp overlay sometimes appearing empty or loading slowly.
  • Various icon and layout fixes on the web build pages.

v0.6.4

May 23, 2026
Improved
  • When the local database fails to open for any reason, the app now shows a clear error dialog instead of silently displaying an empty dashboard
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.6.4 installs) Improved augment recommendations - strong but unconventional augments are no longer under-ranked on champions where they consistently over-perform.
Fix
  • Fixed critical bug where the dashboard, match history, and Arena Wins all showed empty/0 for everyone running v0.6.2 or v0.6.3 - caused by a stale native database binding that silently failed to load. Your data was never lost; the app just could not read it. Update to v0.6.4 to see all your stats restored.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.6.4 installs) Champion item rankings and build paths now exclude items that can't actually be purchased - champion passives (e.g. Pyke's "Your Cut") and anvil-only items (e.g. Shardblade) - so only real buildable items are shown and ranked.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.6.4 installs) Fixed match history and champion win tracking showing 0 matches / 0 wins for some signed-in accounts on EUNE, EUW, KR and other non-NA regions. Match history now loads correctly - no need to reconnect or reinstall.

v0.6.3

May 22, 2026
Improved
  • Match history refreshes automatically ~45 seconds after a finished game, so finishing a match while the app is open no longer requires a manual Sync
  • Delta auto-updates: subsequent updates download only the changed portions instead of the full ~120 MB installer
Fix
  • Dashboard now restores your last-known account when the League Client is offline or the account cache gets out of sync (was: empty no-account state showing 0 games)

v0.6.2

May 22, 2026
Improved
  • When the server is briefly busy, the Synergies tab now shows a clear error state with a Try again button instead of an empty result.
Fix
  • Synergies tab is more reliable. Fixed intermittent server-side errors that previously caused a misleading "not enough data" message when data actually existed.

v0.6.0

May 19, 2026
New
  • Region filter: pick from 14 Riot regions (NA, LAN, LAS, BR, EUW, EUNE, TR, RU, KR, JP, OCE, SG, TW, VN) to see tier lists, builds, augments, and matchups scoped to that meta. Default 'All Regions' preserves the combined view.
  • Patch filter: lock the tier list and build pages to a historical patch (currently 16.10, 16.9, 16.8, 16.7). Session-only - relaunches reset to the current patch automatically.
Improved
  • Region selection now updates every relevant view: Champion Tier List, Augment Tier List, Champion Build (games, stats, items, augments, prismatics, bans, counters, build path), Dashboard sections, and inline hover tooltips.
  • Multi-region crawler ingests matches from all 14 regions in parallel, giving more accurate global stats and faster meta updates after each Riot patch.
  • Patch-history retention - match data from the last ~6 patches is now kept rolling instead of being wiped on patch transition, enabling historical comparisons.
Fix
  • Duo tier list automatically falls back to the most recent patch where the 8x2 duos rotation was active, with a clear banner explaining why (current rotation is 3x6 trios).
  • Hover tooltips now reflect the currently-selected region - switching to KR no longer leaves tooltips showing 'all' tier badges from a stale cache.

v0.6.1

May 19, 2026
New
  • Community builds now appear in the global search bar. Typing a champion name (e.g. 'Rengar') shows community-built guides for that champion alongside the stats view, marked with a cyan COMMUNITY badge. Clicking opens the Community Builds page pre-filtered to that champion.
  • Redesigned homepage: compact hero with logo, title, search bar, and download CTA, plus three Top 10 columns (champions, augments, duos) and an auto-scrolling Community Builds carousel with mini preview cards showing the champion alongside its items and augments.
  • /duos page now paginates across all 14k+ duos (200 per page) with infinite scroll. Partner filtering uses a second ChampionSelector slot, and sort + order run server-side so you actually see the worst-200 of the full list when you flip the arrow, not just the reverse of the currently-loaded chunk.
  • Global search now also surfaces static pages (Tier List, Augments, Duos, Community Builds, Changelog) alongside champions and community builds, with sectioned results and arrow-key + Enter keyboard navigation.
  • The website now supports Spanish (es-MX) - visit arena-assistant.com/es for a full Mexican Spanish translation of the tier list, augments, duos, community builds, legal pages, and tooltips. (Website-only update, applies to all 0.6.1 installs; no app installer changes.)
Improved
  • Cleaner trend indicator on the champion tier list cards: the small gray badge over the portrait was replaced with an inline up/down arrow next to the score, colored green (trending up) or red (trending down).
  • Vote count on community-build search results now uses the standard up/down arrow icons (green positive, red negative) instead of a Unicode character, matching the rest of the app's visual language.
  • /tier-list and /augments now use the shared Select component for filter dropdowns, tier-colored portrait rings using the canonical palette, and GOD/STRONG/GOOD/FAIR/WEAK/BAD labels alongside the tier letters.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.6.1 installs) /api/duos now supports server-side pagination (limit + offset), champion + partner filtering, multi-column sort with whitelisted order, and a total count - the foundation for the new /duos page's infinite scroll.
Fix
  • Augment Tier List distribution is now balanced across S+/S/A/B/C/D. Previously, almost every strong augment landed on S+ and the A tier was nearly empty due to a scoring algorithm cap that bunched up high performers.
  • Champion portraits on the web /champion/<name> page no longer fall back to broken alt text - the URL was incorrectly using the DDragon text key instead of the numeric champion key when fetching from CDragon.
  • Item / augment / champion fallback placeholders no longer hit a blocked third-party host on the web. Replaced 13 calls with a CSP-safe inline-SVG data URI that renders directly without a network request, so portraits no longer fall back to alt-text sprawl across the card.
  • Champion build page stats now refresh when you change the patch or region selector - previously the inner data hook stayed pinned to its default scope and ignored the store, so per-patch/per-region numbers were stale.

v0.5.15

May 17, 2026
Improved
  • Champion Select page redesign - refined cards, depth, and consistent typography across header, slot picks, ban recommendations, duo list, and victory checklist
  • Duo recommendations now use a 2-column grid (twice as many duos visible without scrolling); raw synergy score removed in favor of the tier badge alone
  • Recommended champions in the Victory Checklist now show a soft purple halo around the tile instead of a star icon covering the portrait
  • Crowd-favorite duos get an amber glow so they stand out clearly on tier-tinted cards
  • Victory Checklist champion grid fills its card vertically and packs more champions per row
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.5.15 installs) Patch history retention - match-level data from the last several patches is now kept rolling instead of being wiped at each patch transition, enabling future per-patch comparisons and retroactive analytics.
Fix
  • Portraits for newly-released champions (Zaahen and any future additions) now load correctly across the entire app, including the champion select grid, slot picks, and duo recommendations
  • Removed the phantom right-edge scrollbar on the Champion Select page
  • Eliminated the empty space under the champion progress list - the grid now uses all the vertical space available
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.5.15 installs) Companion augment recommendations now surface for low-popularity selected augments. Previously, augments with few total games (like Light em Up) showed an empty Best Companion Augments panel even when tag-aligned companions existed; the alignment sample floor was tuned for items and starved the augment view.

v0.5.14

May 17, 2026
Improved
  • Internal: upgraded the Electron runtime (Chromium 134, Node 22) and rebuilt all native modules. No user-visible behavior changes - brings in security patches and is the foundation for future improvements.
  • Update process now writes a local log file at %APPDATA%\arena-assistant\logs\main.log so update problems can be diagnosed if they happen. The file stays on your machine.

v0.5.13

May 17, 2026
Improved
  • Faster, smoother overlay focus tracking - overlays now react to Alt-Tab between game and app in ~250ms (was up to 5 seconds). Lower CPU usage during gameplay.
  • Background match sync only fetches matches since the last sync (was re-fetching full history) - much faster on large accounts.
  • Deduplicated concurrent history fetches to prevent a renderer hang when multiple components requested matches at once.
  • Internal: swapped the SQLite driver to better-sqlite3 for faster, simpler writes. No user-visible behavior change.
  • Reopen overlays button now verifies a game is in progress before re-showing.
  • In-game overlay detection now matches by process name instead of window title, fixing client false-positives and missed in-game detections.
Fix
  • Match-end UI freeze: wrapped the match-save chain in a single SQLite transaction so the UI stays responsive when a game ends.
  • Dashboard refreshes stats and recent matches automatically after background sync completes.
  • Duo and victory overlays now reset cleanly on every new champ-select session, including after a dodge.
  • Stopped a metrics-write loop that could spam 80+ ENOENT errors per minute under load.

v0.5.12

May 16, 2026
New
  • Added a branded splash on the first launch after an update, with an in-app toast confirming the new version.
Improved
  • Updates are now much smaller - only the bytes that changed are downloaded, instead of the full 100 MB installer.
  • Updates install silently now. No more installer window appearing between Restart & Install and the app reopening.
  • Apex Inventor (Item Haste) builds now recommend items with passive cooldowns - Unending Despair, Zhonya's, Guardian Angel, Sundered Sky, and others - auto-detected from Riot data.
  • On-hit items (Wit's End, Nashor's Tooth, Blade of the Ruined King) now correctly recommend for champions whose abilities apply on-hit effects: Katarina, Kennen R, Camille R, Irelia, Master Yi, Varus W, and more.
Fix
  • Fixed a 3-second blackout where the in-game state wouldn't be detected after a League client restart or app crash recovery - overlays now appear immediately on reconnect.

v0.5.7

May 15, 2026
Improved
  • Added a Discord button to the Settings sidebar so it is reachable from any tab, not just Settings ? About.
  • Removed the App identity card from Settings ? About the version label in the sidebar footer already shows the same info.
Fix
  • Arena queue detection now recognizes the 3x6 trios rotation (queue 1750). The pre-game overlay and champ-select tracker were silently disabled whenever the live rotation used trios they now activate on any current or future Arena variant via the durable gameMode signal.

v0.5.10

May 15, 2026
Improved
  • Duo Recommender (champ select): condensed rows so ~7 partners fit without scrolling instead of 4-5. Champions that are currently lobby Crowd Favorites now show the anvil badge in the duo list too, so you can spot picks that are both a strong synergy AND buffed by the crowd vote.
  • Augments tab: replaced the vague "Best / Worst" toggle with explicit "Sort by: Tier / Win Rate" and a separate direction control, so you can directly rank augments by win rate for your champion.
  • Prismatics tab: added a sort control. Choosing "Win Rate" flattens the tier groups into one ranked grid so the highest-winrate items surface immediately. Tier mode keeps the familiar grouped view.
  • Bans (champ select): dropped the "Your Most Common Bans" section. Its history was unreliable (the recorder only logged the first ban each session, regardless of whose ban it actually was) so it was misleading more than it was helpful. The "Recommended Bans" section, which uses global counter-pick data for your selected champion, stays and is more useful anyway.
Fix
  • Duo recommendation algorithm (backend-only update, applies to all 0.5.10 installs): rebalanced the scoring so it actually reflects synergy between the two champions instead of just rewarding pairs that contain one individually strong carry. Synergy lift (actual pairwise performance vs. what their individual stats predict) is now the dominant signal; raw rates are only minor tiebreakers; under-performing duos can score below expected. New tiers visible after the next aggregation cycle ( 10 min).
  • Sync UX: routine incremental sync no longer shows the detailed "Processed X/Y matches" progress bar (most of those passes are pure deduplication and the bar was just noise). The progress bar is now reserved for First Sync and Deep Sync where there is real work to watch.
  • Season dropdown: panel no longer shrinks to the trigger width when "All Time" is selected, so longer labels like "Season 16 Act 1" stop wrapping to two lines.

v0.5.8

May 15, 2026
Fix
  • Match history is now actually kept forever. Users upgrading from 0.5.5 or earlier kept the legacy 30-day retention default, so the periodic cleanup silently deleted matches older than 30 days even after 0.5.6 promised a permanent local archive. A one-shot migration on first launch resets the legacy 30-day value to Keep forever. If you lost matches: open Settings ? Data & Sync and run Deep Sync to recover everything Riot still has (Riot keeps roughly 2 years).

v0.5.9

May 15, 2026
Improved
  • Sync completion message now reports if any matches couldnt be fetched (e.g. "Synced 80 new matches. 3 couldnt be fetched press Sync again to retry") so you know when to re-run.
Fix
  • Match-history sync no longer silently drops matches under rate-limit pressure. Match detail fetches now retry up to 3 times with exponential backoff before giving up. Full Sync now uses the same dedup-first loop as Deep Sync, so transient failures get retried on the next sync run instead of being permanently lost.
  • Arena queue ID 1710 is now recognized alongside 1700 and 1750. Riot ships some Arena rotations under queue 1710 (documented as "Arena, 16 player lobby" in their queues.json); previously we excluded it, so any matches in that queue were invisible to the app.

v0.5.11

May 15, 2026
Improved
  • Better internal analytics: app now records who is playing even when League Client is closed (uses last logged-in account)
  • Track champion-select, game start, and game end events with precise client timestamps for the developer activity timeline
  • Event queue persists to disk so analytics survive app crashes
Fix
  • Changelog list now sorts versions correctly (0.5.10 above 0.5.9 instead of below)

v0.5.5

May 14, 2026
Improved
  • The match crawler now collects Arena 3x6 games too, so champion and item stats will start reflecting the new rotation as data accumulates. Duo-synergy stats stay on the previous rotations data for now -- trio-aware synergy stats are in progress.
  • (backend-only update, applies to all 0.5.5 installs) The arena-assistant.com landing page is now properly indexable. Each route gets its own title, description, canonical and hreflang tags, structured data (SoftwareApplication, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList JSON-LD), a new FAQ section, robots.txt and a dynamic sitemap.xml. Spanish routing added under /es/. Targets searches like 'arena lol', 'arena tracker', 'arena match history lol' and related Arena terms. Desktop app is unchanged -- no update required.
Fix
  • Arena 3x6 (trios) matches now show up in match history. The new rotation uses a different internal queue ID than the old 2x8 duos mode, which the app was not requesting -- so trio games were invisible. The app now pulls both queues.

v0.5.6

May 14, 2026
New
  • Import / Export your won-champion checklist. Save your progress as a JSON file (with per-champion win counts, games count, and the date of your first win), import it back on another machine, or bring in a checklist from another tracker. Lives in Settings -> Data Sync -> Arena Won Champions.
  • Import match history. Restore matches from an Arena Assistant export on another machine. Existing matches are kept; duplicates are skipped. Lives in Settings -> Data Sync -> Match History.
  • The local match-history database is now a permanent archive by default. Matches stay locally forever, even after Riot prunes them from their API (~2-year retention). If you want a rolling window, you can still pick one in Settings -> General -> Data retention.
Improved
  • Arena Wins section: new "Won (A-Z)" sort (groups your wins first, alphabetized), the season and sort dropdowns now use the standardized app dropdown, and both selections persist across app restarts per account.
  • Settings -> Data Sync regrouped: "Arena Won Champions" section (export / import / clear imported) and "Match History" section (export CSV/JSON / import) instead of the previous operation-based layout.
  • Web landing page: localized /es Spanish routes with language switcher, FAQ section, keyword-rich copy, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, JSON-LD structured data, and per-route meta injection for better search results.
Fix
  • Arena 3x6 trios match history now renders correctly. Detail panel shows 6 teams of 3 with real teammates; placement displays as "Nth / 6"; podium colors are rotation-agnostic.
  • Deep history sync no longer silently drops matches. The previous queue-ID fix introduced a per-queue pagination bug that compounded with every trio match played; the sync now exhausts each Arena queue independently.
  • Victory track no longer falsely resets on patch bumps. The app was treating every new patch as a new season; it now uses the curated season list as the source of truth (a duos-to-trios rotation is not a season reset).

v0.5.4

May 13, 2026
Improved
  • Synergies tab UX polish: build path tile badges (non-obvious-synergy Sparkles, small-sample warning) now position their tooltips correctly relative to the visible badge instead of an invisible spot below the item card. Tooltips that flip below a trigger now have extra cursor clearance so the pointer no longer obscures the first line of text.
  • Synergies tab header redesigned: title with tier badge and inline avg / top4 / games stat pills, plus the augment or prismatic description with rich formatting (resolved data values for augments, styled keywords + on-hit/stat icons for items). Tighter padding overall.
  • Augment and prismatic picker rows in the Synergies tab now show a description tooltip when you hover the icon. Scoped to the icon area only -- hovering the name or stats no longer triggers the tooltip.
  • Off-meta items and off-meta companion augments sections are now grouped together at the bottom of the Synergies detail panel for easier scanning.
  • Sidebar picker list now fills the full available viewport height even when the detail panel is short (e.g. both off-meta sections collapsed), and stays in place when you scroll the right panel.
  • Synergies engine now recognizes three amplifier mechanics (backend-only update, applies to all 0.5.4 installs): Item Haste (Apex Inventor lifts cooldown-gated items like Heartsteel, Sundered Sky, Eclipse), Auto-Cast (Spell Slinger family lifts Lightning Rod and Hexbolt Companion), and Ability Haste (substantial-AH augments lift on-cast items). The right items now show up where they actually belong.
  • Stat-scaling synergies now carry :major / :minor weight (backend-only). Lightning Rod is primarily about auto-cast, secondarily about ability haste -- the engine knows the difference and ranks accordingly.
Fix
  • Ability tooltips on the Summary tab now substitute the literal @AbilityResourceName@ token with the champions actual resource word (Mana Cost, Energy Cost, etc.) instead of showing a question mark.
  • Augment descriptions that use Riots @spell.Augment_X:VarName@ template form (e.g. Homeguard) now resolve correctly instead of leaking the raw template into the tooltip.
  • The in-game navigation handler now gates by Arena mode (CHERRY queue) before reacting, so Arena Assistant no longer responds to non-Arena game starts.

v0.5.3

May 12, 2026
New
  • Synergies tab now filters recommendations by champion identity burn augments stop suggesting crit items on AP champions, on-hit items on lethality assassins, and so on. Filtering uses a 15-archetype taxonomy covering every champion in Arena.
  • Build path always recommends a complete set: boots + prismatic + 5 cores. No more empty slots. Items ranked by a composite score that combines mechanical synergy (primary), champion alignment (boost), and Bayesian-shrunk statistics (tiebreaker) so the mechanical engine drives the choice, not just raw win rate.
  • Engine now recognizes conditional synergies items whose damage formula scales with a stat your champion stacks. Example: Darksteel Talons (true-damage-on-hit scaling with armor) is correctly aligned for Malphite even though it has attack-speed and on-hit tags that would normally conflict. Detected from CDragon s structured item annotations + a small curated override list.
  • Off-meta picks: items that don t fit your champion archetype now live in a collapsible section below the main grid, with chips explaining why each is off-meta. No more being surprised by Statikk Shiv recommendations on Malzahar.
  • Selecting an augment or prismatic acts as an implicit I m building toward these stats signal items that share the selected piece s stats are promoted to aligned, even if they d normally conflict with your champion. Picking Darksteel on Malphite makes the engine recommend other on-hit/attack-speed items as part of that build path.
  • New Sparkles ? badge on build-path items marks non-obvious synergies the engine surfaces these items because of a scaling relationship you might not see from the surface tags. Hover for a full explanation.
Improved
  • Champion tier list and conditional-build endpoints now fall back to the most recent patch with data when the new patch hasn t been crawled yet. Eliminates the dashboard going blank on patch-release day.
  • Proportional sample-size floor on Top Items grid items below ~5% of total combo games are demoted to off-meta to prevent 3-game 100%-pick-rate noise. Synergy items bypass the floor since their mechanical signal is independent evidence.
Fix
  • Aggregator stack overflow fixed on very large synergy tables (Math.max with thousands of args).
  • Hardened frontend against null tier values from upstream API failures the dashboard no longer crashes when champion data is partial.

v0.5.2

May 11, 2026
New
  • Off-meta items and off-meta companion augments now have their own collapsible sections in the Synergies tab, with green check / red x alignment chips that show which stat or mechanic tags fit your champion and which dont. No more burying questionable picks in the main grid.
Improved
  • Top Items and Best Companion Augments lists expanded from 20 to 35 entries each so high-variance champions with many viable options are not artificially capped.
  • Synergies tab handles low-data combos more gracefully -- a clear empty-state banner replaces the silent empty grid when no aligned items meet the sample threshold yet.
  • Match history first pass: cleaner filtering and result rendering, addressed code-review feedback on edge cases.
Fix
  • Match history: a few edge-case rendering bugs surfaced during code review (blocker + important findings) are now fixed.

v0.5.1

May 10, 2026
New
  • New Timeline tab in match details: round-by-round augment progression per player, damage-over-time chart, build-path per player, kill log with multi-kill badges and level-up markers
  • Match History filters: free-text search, placement chips (1st / Top 2 / Top 4 / Bottom 4), date presets (Today / 7d / 30d / All) - saved per account
  • Last-20 placement strip + sparkline in Match History header - see your recent form at a glance
  • Top Augments stats card - your best augments by average placement
  • Match details now opens in a centered, wider modal (1280px) with Esc-to-close and backdrop click - and scrolls properly
  • Click a recent match on the Dashboard to jump straight to its details modal
  • Settings page completely redesigned with sidebar nav: General / Overlays / Data & Sync / About
  • Auto-save Settings with inline Saved indicator - no more floating Save button
  • Startup options now work: Launch on system login, Start minimised to tray, Close-button behaviour (tray vs quit)
  • Overlay scale control (Small / Medium / Large) actually rescales in-game overlays
  • Data retention cleanup: automatically deletes matches older than your retention window
  • Storage stats card (matches stored, DB size, last match) + per-account sync list + CSV/JSON match export
  • Danger Zone with type-to-confirm modals for Reset Settings and Clear All Match Data - no more native browser popups
Improved
  • Custom app-styled dropdowns, modals, toasts and confirm dialogs throughout - replaces native browser UI for a more polished feel
  • Renderer performance pass: smoother match-list scroll, faster modal open, lazy-loaded images, ~50% smaller initial bundle (1MB 485KB)
  • Discord deduplicated into a single prominent CTA banner in About; Terms of Use + Privacy Policy links added
Fix
  • Timeline tab augment icons now render correctly (type mismatch resolved)
  • Auto-connect toggle in Settings actually controls auto-connect behavior again
  • Match-details modal scroll works when team list overflows the viewport

v0.5.0

May 9, 2026
New
  • New Synergies tab - pick any augment or item to see the build that works around it. Items + augments now ranked by mechanical synergy, not just statistics
  • Mechanic filters with AND/OR mode - narrow the picker by burn, on-hit, dash, AP, AD, lethality, and more
  • Hover any item or augment to see why it pairs (or does not) with your selection - sectioned tooltip with primary, secondary, and warning reasons
  • Synergies tab redesigned with sidebar + detail layout - picker always visible, full real estate for build details and 35 top items / companions per pick
Improved
  • Mechanic engine recognizes more patterns: dashes, leaps, AoE damage, healing, shields, summons, stealth/invisibility, omnivamp - far more pairs find natural mechanical partners
Fix
  • Anti-heal items no longer falsely flagged as anti-synergy with your own healing - Grievous Wounds only reduces enemy healing, never your own
  • Quest items (Golden Spatula, Wooglet s Witchcap, Void Immolation) and forced-choice augments (Transmute family, Level Augments) no longer pollute build recommendations
  • Small-sample noise items no longer outrank well-tested ones in build paths - added scale-aware threshold based on total games

v0.4.17

May 8, 2026
Improved
  • Augment catalog: pulled descriptions for ~110 more Arena augments by adding Riot's localized stringtable as an enrichment source
  • Stats: dropped non-Arena augments (Path of Champions / Swarm, Brawl / Mayhem) from the catalog and aggregations
  • Admin dashboard is now mobile-responsive (hamburger drawer, tables scroll horizontally)
Fix
  • Augment tier list: fixed wrong name shown when two augments share an icon (e.g. Despoil/Desecrator) - lookup now keyed by augment ID, not icon filename
  • Stats: forced and cameo augments (Gain an Augment Slot, Wolf's Frenzy, Lamb's Respite, etc.) no longer pollute pick rates and tier lists
  • Crawler download tracking: every install/update download now hits origin once via /api/dl, fixing the dashboard 'stuck at 0.4.12' issue

v0.4.15

May 7, 2026
New
  • Riot Sign-On (RSO) is now live in both the desktop app and the web browser - sign in with your Riot account once and your Arena profile, match history and saved builds follow you across both
Improved
  • Season transitions are auto-detected from live crawler data, so future patches will reset wins automatically without needing an app update

May 7, 2026
Improved
  • Prismatic augment icons polished clean idle look plus an animated holographic rim and diagonal sheen on hover
Fix
  • Build path no longer shows two boots Ghostcrawlers and Gluttonous Greaves are now correctly classified via DataDragon tags instead of a manual list, so future boot variants are picked up automatically

  • Void Immolation (Mayhem quest reward) excluded from build path recommendations, it can not be bought through the normal shop

v0.4.14

May 6, 2026
Improved
  • Augment icons now have rarity-aware visual treatments - holographic prismatic tint, gold sheen, silver shimmer, and bronze warmth

Fix
  • Augments section is fully restored after the 2026 Cherry Arena season. All current augments now show with proper icons, descriptions, rarities, and stats
  • Match History now captures all 6 augment slots per match (was 4) - the Cherry season expanded the slot count and we were silently dropping slots 5 and 6
